Ann Sophia Curline (née Durant) was born in 1810 at Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Her first husband was James Curline, bookseller, to whom she had two children. Her second husband was James Riley, to whom she had three daughters. Ann and her husbands lived in the Holborn area of London and each census shows them at a different address in this area. Ann is shown in the 1871 census as being a nurse. She was living with her daughter and son-in-law Mary Ann and Richard Hudson at Moray Place when she died.
