Emma Buchanan 1856 – 1890

Emma Buchanan was the wife of William Buchanan. She was born in Adelaide, Australia on 20 Sept 1856 and came to Hokitika about 1866 where she married on 27 Jan 1876. She had 5 children and arrived with her family in Dunedin between October 1879 & June 1882. She died of cerebro spinal meningitis in Dunedn Hospital.
