Mary Ann Foster née Knowles (1853 – 1930)

Mary Ann Knowles, daughter of Mary Ann Jones and Edward Knowles, was born in England on the 22nd of March 1853 and married Frederick Foster in Dunedin. They had four children, William Frederick, Ethel Maude, Fanny Elizabeth and Rose Florence.

Mary Knowles/Foster died on the 8th of February 1930 aged 76 years and was buried on the 10th of February 1930 in the Northern Cemetery in Block 197, Plot 0019 with her husband. Her last known address is 76 Heriot Row, Dunedin. Her burial records also state that she was a native of England.
