Lance Corporal Ernest William Fea was the son of William Beattie Mowat Fea and Sarah Fea of 22 Highgate, Roslyn, Dunedin. During WW1 he served in the Otago Mounted Rifles, N.Z.E.F. He was in Egypt 1915 – 16, at Gallipoli and on the Western Front 1916 – 17. He died of sickness 2nd April 1920.
