Margaret Gibson (nee Forsyth)

Margaret was born 17.06.1835 in Mid Yell, Shetland, Scotland, the daughter of John Forsyth, cattle dealer (b.c 1805,Berwickshire,Scotland) and Mary Aichison (b.c.1812, Berwickshir,Scotland). In 1860 she married Peter Gibson and the couple with their infant son sailed for Otago New Zealand where they settled and raised a family of 11. Margaret died 29.11.1913.
