Mary Wills Withers 1883-1908

Mary Wills Withers, nee Hunt was born in Reading, Berks, U.K. on 3rd August 1833. She married William Wesley Withers. The couple sailed to New Zealand on the ‘James Nicol Fleming’ in 1875. They had at least two children Isobel Susannah and George.

Isobel married Thomas Borrow and is buried here in the Northern Cemetery with her family. George moved to Invercargill and is buried in the Eastern Cemetery there.
