Beryl Irene Gillies c1883 – 11 March 1906 Beryl Irene Gillies was the daughter of Octavia Yulu Gillies who arrived in New Zealand from England on board the ship Auckland in 1879, as a child of twelve years. She was one of eight children. Her future husband was on the ship with her and the tow families became friends and remained in contact after the voyage. |
