Robert Duncan (c.1878-1930)

Robert Duncan married Edith Maud Dowse and they had 6 children. Robert was a painter by trade and also a volunteer fireman. He was a member of the fire brigade brass band. Following a national brass band competition, he was selected for the national fire brigade brass band which attended a competition in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. He died in Dunedin on November 8th 1930 aged 52.
